## Description

We are seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer (with the offering title Director of Eng) to join our team. As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

## Responsibilities

- ERP Data Management: Implement connectors to fetch and store ERP data, ensuring high availability and efficient storage.

- Email Processing Management: Own the reliability and scalability of large-scale email processing systems, handling tens of millions of email accounts and hundreds of millions of emails daily.

- Business and Technology/Engineering Liaison: Understand business requirements and design technical solutions to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.

- Backend API Mastery: Implement or upgrade backend APIs to meet evolving customer demands.

- System Maintenance and Architecture Champion: Maintain existing services, perform iterative upgrades, and deploy improvements.

- Global Team Player: Collaborate with US, Singapore, India, and China teams, being flexible with work hours.

## Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from a top-tier institution

- 12+ years of hands-on software development experience

- Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals

- Excellent in Python, Golang, or Java

- Proficiency with messaging platforms and relational/NoSQL datastores

- Experience in architecture and developing large-scale distributed systems

- Familiarity with microservice architecture, API gateway patterns, and service observability

## Nice to Have

- Knowledge of security best practices, authentication/authorization, and performance tuning for high-traffic systems

- Experience with DevOps practices

- Knowledge of AI agent/harness and using AI to improve work efficiency

This is a fully-remote opportunity based in India, with standard work hours from 8 am to 5 pm IST.
