## Description

WSP India is seeking a Principal BIM Technician to join their Structural team in Bengaluru. This role involves working with the BIM team to produce detailed structural modelling and drawings in REVIT/Tekla Structures, with a focus on bridges projects in the Netherlands.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CADS RC Detailing and AutoCAD, and experience working in a similar role in the structural concrete and steel industry.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing structural detailed and concept design RC detailing drawings for various structures/buildings and construction types

- Leading the preparation of engineering/reinforcement drawings using WSP CAD/BIM standards and templates

- Agreeing priorities and deadlines with the Netherlands team and organizing work to ensure timely delivery

- Aligning work with quality requirements and maintaining document control for all work

- Developing templates and libraries for CAD/BIM work

- Providing quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced

The role requires:

- A diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering

- Experience working in a similar role and structural concrete and steel industry

- Strong experience with REVIT or Tekla Structures – Rebar Technology with CADS RC previous experience/knowledge

- Knowledge of working in Tekla environment inclusive of Steel/Precast/Point cloud/Cast in situ working models

- Good understanding of working for international codes and industry standards
