## Description

We are recruiting a Driving Tutor to be based at Brentside (Unit 4 - Brentside Executive Park, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9DR) and Dockside Education centres.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a diverse team, supporting the driving education programmes for Ambulance Operations in one of the busiest ambulance services in the world.

The post holder will provide approved driver training within the scope of the Clinical Education & Standards department, delivering driver education and training to all grades of clinical and support staff within the Trust.

Responsibilities include:

- Delivering driver education and training in formal classroom settings, virtual classrooms, operational environments, and on operational vehicles

- Monitoring and mentoring learner activities

- Promoting best practice across the service while maintaining compliance with local and national policies and standards

- Ensuring all Awarding/Accrediting bodies' requirements are adhered to and met

The post holder will be developed across the educational and leadership aspects, enabling them to undertake a range of managerial and education duties and provide visible clinical and managerial leadership.

## Skills

### Required
- Level 4 Diploma Emergency Response Ambulance Driving Instructor
- Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving
- Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training (QCF)
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA)
- Full, C1 driving licence, valid in the UK and no more than 3 penalty points
- Current DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) registration
