## Description

Syneos Health is seeking a Sr Project Specialist with a payments focus, also known as a Sr Payment Specialist, to join their team in Poland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing site and participant payments in compliance with Clinical Trial Agreements and individual site staff agreements.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining and distributing study-specific financial reports, such as vendor/site invoices, investigator payments, and forecasts

- Leading internal and external meetings, preparing and distributing meeting minutes and action items, and following up with team members on action items

- Recording the status of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in assigned systems and assessing and communicating KPIs for associated job tasks

- Managing and executing site payments and participant payments in line with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies

- Accurately recording payment transactions and updates in relevant electronic systems

- Preparing and processing payment requests in the designated grant management system

- Creating Purchase Orders (POs) based on established contract values

- Setting up new suppliers for newly engaged site staff participating in clinical trials

- Tracking and monitoring payment status regularly and proactively identifying and resolving issues

- Contributing to the development and implementation of site payment process improvements

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient execution of payment processes and issue resolution

- Handling financial communication with designated site contacts and site staff regarding payment processes

- Communicating with sites and clinical teams on payment status and addressing any questions or updates

- Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for site payment-related processes and inquiries

- Delivering assigned tasks proactively, independently, and in accordance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

The ideal candidate will have:

- Moderate relevant clinical research experience with an understanding of clinical drug development and clinical trial operations

- At least 1 year of experience in clinical research in Poland

- Experience in a Payment Specialist role or a similar position

- Understanding of payment processes or related procedures, with the ability to interpret contractual terms and conditions

- Good knowledge of GCP guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements

- Strong organizational skills

- Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines

- Self-motivation and ability to work independently

- High proficiency with full MS Office Applications

- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade (Polish and English).
