## Description

Join Salesforce's 12-week internship program as a software engineer intern on the GovCloud Development Platform team. You will work on building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems that support hundreds of features for high-compliance environments. As an intern, you will influence the future of Salesforce's products, platform, and AI-powered experiences. You will receive mentorship from experienced engineers while contributing to solutions that impact millions around the world.

Responsibilities:

- Work within team-defined designs and architecture to help deliver robust product onboarding experiences, cloud-native services, and resilient infrastructure.

- Collaborate closely with senior engineers to implement projects ensuring high availability and security compliance for software services.

Requirements:

- U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) operating on U.S. soil who does not hold dual citizenship.

- Strong background in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming/design, algorithms, and data structures.

- Team player with demonstrated collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Coursework in SQL and relational database concepts.

- Proficiency in Java, Javascript, and related frameworks.

- Working knowledge of HTML and web technologies.

- Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and visual.

- Experience using telemetry and metrics to drive operational excellence.
