## Description

Mercury is built for the building class: those who act on their ambition, who see something that doesn't exist and decide to make it real with their time, money, and team; whether that's a side project or a scaling unicorn.

Dashboard is the home base of Mercury and the connective tissue between everything you need: home, search, tasks, notifications, and the moment-to-moment sense of place and priority.

Your responsibilities:

- Take ownership of an underdefined, high-stakes surface and develop a real point of view on what it should be; starting with Tasks, Home, and Notifications

- Lead a redesign of the Mercury home page: what belongs on it, what doesn't, and how it earns its real estate as the product's job for the customer changes

- Design the unified logic behind tasks, lifecycle updates, and in-product alerts

- Partner closely with Command, agents, and product teams that will increasingly lean on these surfaces to drive intent

- Set direction and a prioritized roadmap, balancing user needs against the needs of every product team that depends on Dashboard as connective tissue

- Work as a true collaborator with design, shaping the visual and interaction language of core surfaces

- Operate independently in ambiguity, contributing to the visioning, sequencing, and execution of a multi-phase overhaul of horizontal Dashboard experiences

- Regularly present strategy and tradeoffs to company leadership

- Translate qualitative and quantitative data into insights that inform the team's work

Requirements:

- 7+ years of relevant product management experience, preferably on horizontal product or platform teams accountable for a quality user experience

- Deep design taste

- A track record of turning ambiguity into a clear point of view, independently

- Real fluency working with designers as a peer

- The ability to take complex problems end to end autonomously

Benefits:

- Base salary

- Equity (stock options/RSUs)
