## Description

We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team on a part-time temporary basis. The successful candidate will work 16 hours per week, including weekends, at Jackson Square, Bishop's Stortford.

The role involves providing a high-quality janitorial service, both internally and externally, and welfare areas, such as washrooms, management suite, back of house, and main shopping mall. Responsibilities include:

- Carrying out duties effectively and efficiently as part of a team

- Handling waste generated on site via approved waste streams

- Using walk-behind and ride-on sweepers and scrubber-dryers, and other cleaning equipment

- Responding to spillages and callouts from the client's on-site team

- Communicating effectively with team members and line managers

- Wearing protective clothing and complying with Health & Safety legislation and policies

Requirements include:

- Basic level of knowledge of health and safety requirements or a willingness to learn

- Knowledge of cleaning methods or a willingness to learn

- High attention to detail

- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

- Physical fitness for an active role
