This role is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, subsea telemetry, and ISR solutions that support critical defence and national security missions.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team developing advanced maritime technologies, from prototype design to full-scale system deployment for ongoing Navy missions.

The Maritime Systems Division is a recognised leader in C4ISR technologies, delivering innovative, mission-critical solutions across sensor networks, unmanned systems, and tactical platforms. We're known for achieving 'industry firsts' in the most challenging maritime domains.

Join us and be part of a world-class team delivering unmatched solutions for today's most pressing maritime missions.

- Work with experts: Collaborate with a top-tier team of engineers, scientists, and technicians located across the U.S.

- Shape the future: Influence both the strategic and tactical direction of next-generation subsea technologies.

**Responsibilities**

- Work directly with various engineering disciplines to develop discrete build packages of existing and new products.

- Drive innovative process improvements aligned with customer needs and mission goals.

- Ensure a 'design for manufacturing' focus is maintained during system development.

- Maintain production schedules and advise on staffing or system needs.

- Balance and provide prioritisation for a team of Engineering Technologists supporting multiple programs.

- Work closely with Facility Management to continually improve the manufacturing areas and resources supporting them.

- Support hands-on assembly, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing of sub-assemblies through complete systems utilising tools ranging from screwdrivers to 3D scanners and printers.

**Requirements**

- Bachelor's degree in a technical or operations discipline.

- 5+ years of experience working in a technical or hands-on field.

- Professional experience planning and maintaining task schedules.

- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Experience in the design, development, or integration of complex subsea maritime systems.

- Experience with UUVs, deployed subsea systems, and underwater payloads.

- Proven track record in product manufacturing and transitioning designs to production.
