## Description

We are seeking a full-time Reservations Assistant to join our team at Accor in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

As a Reservations Assistant, you will be responsible for selling hotel rooms, providing general information to customers about hotel facilities and services, and negotiating rates based on predetermined parameters.

Key responsibilities include:

- Confirming reservations and sending confirmation to customers

- Handling customer inquiries via phone, providing information and clarification on hotel tariffs and following established criteria and standards

- Ensuring compliance with Reservation area procedures and preparing Autocontrol processes and procedures

- Updating the system with customer reservation information from the Central Reservations Centre and Events department

- Supporting the Reservations Supervisor and/or Reception Coordinator in analysing and suggesting changes to tariff variations

- In the absence of the Reservations Supervisor, interfacing with RM/Chefe de Recepção for tariff fluctuations

- Monitoring hotel availability and verifying changes with the Reservations Supervisor and/or Reception Coordinator

- Guiding the work of the Reservations Auxiliary

- Performing other related tasks as required

Requirements:

- Intermediate English

- 1 year of experience in the industry

- Currently studying Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field
