## Description

The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking a dynamic and motivated Head of Delivery and Performance to join its Regeneration and Economic Growth division.

The successful candidate will lead the programme management of a portfolio of programmes across the directorate, putting in place the systems and processes necessary to enable the directorate to be well-governed, run smoothly, and be held accountable in terms of spend and the benefits secured.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the programme management of a portfolio of programmes across the directorate

- Developing and implementing systems and processes to ensure effective governance and accountability

- Working closely with the Executive Director and Directors of Housing, Planning and Buildings, and Regeneration and Economic Growth to drive forward the development of programmes

- Building strong relationships with programme management colleagues across the council

- Providing excellent communication and problem-solving skills

The ideal candidate will have:

- Substantial programme/portfolio management experience

- A clear understanding of financial management of regeneration and housing programmes

- Expertise dealing with complex budgets and reporting

- A broad knowledge of the housing and regeneration sectors
