## Description

Welocalize is looking for a native-level Malayalam speaker to join a confidential, large-scale AI and consumer technology programme for a major global technology and communications client. The role involves evaluating a pre-release AI model in Malayalam and testing its performance on a client-supplied device.

**Main Responsibilities:**

- Review pre-release AI model output in Malayalam and evaluate its accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality.

- Test the Malayalam experience against the English one, confirming feature parity and checking for localization errors.

- Identify display problems and write clear reports of issues.

- Share native-level speaker insights on navigation, usability, and language-specific nuances.

- Work on-site in a private, secure area of the Welocalize office.

**Job Requirements:**

- Native-level or fully bilingual Malayalam, written and spoken.

- Confidence with smartphones and laptops, and comfort moving between iOS and Android.

- Sharp eye for detail and fair, objective judgement when assessing quality.

- Ability to work independently and explain issues clearly in English.

- Previous experience in software or app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation is a strong plus.
