## Description

NVIDIA is seeking an AI Compute Engineer to join its Infrastructure Specialists team. The successful candidate will work on large-scale AI Compute projects, interacting with customers, partners, and internal teams to analyze, define, and implement solutions.

**Job Summary:** As an AI Compute Engineer, you will deploy, manage, and validate AI Compute/HPC infrastructure in Linux-based environments for new and existing customers. You will serve as a domain expert during planning calls and implementation phases, provide handover-related documentation, and perform knowledge transfers to support customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Deploy, manage, and validate AI Compute/HPC infrastructure in Linux-based environments

- Collaborate with customers during planning calls and implementation phases

- Provide handover-related documentation and perform knowledge transfers

- Offer feedback to internal teams, including bug reports and suggested improvements

**Requirements:**

- 4+ years of experience providing in-depth support and deployment services for hardware and software products

- Knowledge of Linux system administration, process management, package management, and task scheduling

- Experience with cluster management and provisioning technologies for bare-metal servers

- Minimum four-year degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience

- Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deliver resolutions for customer issues

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks with limited supervision

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- InfiniBand experience

- Experience with GPU-focused hardware/software

- Familiarity with MPI (Message Passing Interface)

- Knowledge of storage technologies such as Lustre or GPFS

- Experience with benchmarking tools like HPL, NCCL tests, MLPerf, and Kubernetes

**Salary and Benefits:** The base salary range for this position is $124,000 - $195,500 USD per year. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
