## Description

The Senior Global Sourcing Manager, Electromechanical (Actuators/Motors) is the domain expert for electromechanical commodities at Anduril Industries.

This is a proactive, high-impact role in securing critical components, materials, and services that power our products.

The role involves developing new supplier and sourcing partnerships, improving technologies, cost, and quality of existing and new products.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and executing commodity strategies for electromechanical actuators and motors

- Ensuring end-to-end delivery of quality parts at the right cost

- Acting as the sourcing expert for actuator/motor manufacturing

- Leading RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing processes

- Managing business relationships with external Contract Manufacturing

- Partnering with Engineering teams and Contract Manufacturers to influence technical design specs

- Performing detailed analysis of quote submissions and making data-driven decisions

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support prototype requirements and sourcing activities

- Influencing manufacturing processes and CapEx decisions

- Negotiating key agreements with suppliers

- Providing technical direction within specific commodities

- Managing supplier performance and metrics

- Acting as the primary escalation for respective commodities

The successful candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field

- 8+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of electromechanical manufacturing

- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and relocate to Costa Mesa, CA if necessary

Preferred qualifications include:

- Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering

- Experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or related industries

- Well-versed in TCO analysis and strategic thinking

- Proven leadership and collaboration skills

- Fluency in other cross-functional areas

- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
