We empower high-performing teams at brands like InDrive, McDonald's, Rappi, and Viva Aerobus to integrate over 1,000 payment methods via a single API.   By leveraging advanced AI and the latest technologies, we orchestrate smart routing and fraud prevention across 80+ countries.

This role is part of Yuno's Graduate Program, designed for ambitious fresh graduates looking for their first full-time opportunity.   As a Junior Developer, you'll join our Engineering team, working closely with Product and Solutions Engineering to help build the core services that power Yuno's payments orchestration platform ,   while helping shape what our presence in Saudi Arabia looks like.

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain backend services and APIs under the guidance of senior engineers.

- Collaborate with Product Owners and Solutions Engineers to turn requirements into working solutions.

- Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code.

- Participate in code reviews and learn engineering best practices from the team.

- Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues alongside support and solutions teams.

- Help shape how Yuno's engineering presence grows in the Saudi market.

Requirements:

- Fluent in Arabic and English.

- Recent graduate (or graduating before the start date), in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and able to work full-time.

- Solid foundation in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Node.js, Go, Python, Java).

- Understanding of REST APIs, databases, and core programming fundamentals from coursework or projects.

- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, ground-floor startup environment.

Nice to Have:

- Personal projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions.

- Internship experience in software development.

- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or AI-assisted development tools.

- Interest in payments, fintech, or high-volume transactional systems.
