## Description

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a team member for its Tokyo Japanese Banking Team. The successful candidate will assist fee earners with drafting and related legal documents, document management, and legal research.

Responsibilities:

- Assist fee earners with drafting and related legal documents and support on all aspects of transactional matters

- Manage documents

- Assist with legal due diligence

- Conduct legal research

- Support office regulatory matters involving fee earners and interaction with relevant authorities

- Prepare and update client, market, and legal updates

- Assist with submissions to legal directories

- Help prepare fee proposals

- Support new client and matter opening processes, including client engagement arrangements

- Assist with and manage document translations

- Attend notarizations and other filings

Requirements:

- Law degree with relevant experience

- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese

- Experience managing a demanding workload

- Positive and proactive work attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility with working hours is essential

- Attention to detail
