## Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Software Developer for Game Integration & Capture Reliability. The successful candidate will integrate EA's shared game-data capture technology into production game codebases and establish systems for reproducible and maintainable instrumented title builds.

The role involves adapting title-specific engine systems to expose synchronized rendering, simulation, input, audio, and gameplay signals. The ideal candidate will have experience with C++, game-engine runtime systems, and Perforce streams.

Responsibilities:

- Integrate the shared capture SDK into dedicated streams for multiple EA titles.

- Own ongoing merges from title development streams and resolve integration conflicts.

- Develop title-specific adapters for renderer outputs, camera state, input, physics, animation, navigation, audio, gameplay state, and action events.

- Configure controlled capture modes, including fixed-timestep simulation and synchronization.

- Establish reproducible capture builds tied to exact Perforce changelists and schema versions.

- Develop automated validation for missing modalities, timing drift, and corrupted output.

- Profile and debug performance, memory, threading, and stability issues.

Qualifications:

- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in AAA games or similar complex systems.

- Expertise in C++.

- Experience with game-engine runtime systems and Perforce streams.

- Familiarity with build systems, CI/CD tooling, and scripting languages like Python.

The role is hybrid, working three days a week in Redwood City, Montreal, or Vancouver, with a reporting line to the Lead Technical Director.

In terms of compensation and benefits, EA offers a package including vacation time, sick leave, extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and a retirement plan. The pay range for this role in British Columbia is $141,400 - $204,400 CAD.
