## Description

We are seeking a Manager of Product Management to join the Bedrock Payments team at Capital One. The Bedrock Payments team is responsible for consumer loan payment processing and is on track to process $1 trillion payments this year.

As a Manager of Product Management, you will work closely with product and engineering leadership as well as critical tenant stakeholders across Card, Recoveries, Auto Finance, and Personal Loans to drive the roadmap and prioritization to evolve our Platform Observability, modernize our Well Managed Controls Infrastructure, automate our Reliability Engineering with AI, and improve our Quality Engineering to ensure a resilient platform.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical curiosity and product rigor, with experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.

**Responsibilities**

- Work closely with product and engineering leadership to drive the roadmap and prioritization for the Bedrock Payments platform

- Collaborate with critical tenant stakeholders across Card, Recoveries, Auto Finance, and Personal Loans to understand their needs and priorities

- Evolve Platform Observability, modernize Well Managed Controls Infrastructure, automate Reliability Engineering with AI, and improve Quality Engineering to ensure a resilient platform

- Demonstrate proficiency in five key areas: Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, and Transformational Leadership

**Requirements**

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing

- Or Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 3 years of Product Management experience

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products

**Salary**

- McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 per year

- New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 per year

- Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 per year
