## Description

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer on the Data Pipeline team to help build and operate large-scale systems that ingest petabytes of telemetry data from over 25 million network devices. You'll architect and operate scalable data pipelines, engineer resilient distributed systems within Kubernetes environments, and establish robust observability standards using ELK and Grafana.

**Responsibilities**

- Architect and operate scalable data pipelines capable of ingesting petabyte-scale telemetry from over 25 million network devices

- Engineer resilient, high-performance distributed systems within Kubernetes environments

- Translate complex data requirements into dependable solutions that empower data-driven decision-making

- Establish robust observability standards using ELK and Grafana

- Accelerate the development lifecycle by integrating AI-assisted engineering tools

**Requirements**

- Bachelors + 5 years of related experience, or Masters + 3 years of related experience, or PhD + 0 years of related experience

- Experience building, operating, or debugging distributed systems or backend services that process large volumes of telemetry data daily

- Programming experience using Scala, C++, or Java within a production environment

- Experience designing and managing data pipelines applying real-time streaming or batch processing frameworks such as Kafka, Spark, or Flink

- Experience deploying and maintaining containerized workloads on Kubernetes clusters in a production environment
