## Description

As Senior SEO Strategy Lead, you will own the strategy and day-to-day execution for how Airbnb shows up in Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other emerging AI search platforms.

You will lead cross-functional relationships with product and engineering teams, embedding SEO and AEO best practices into web properties, app surfaces, and structured data.

Your expertise will help improve how well AI models understand Airbnb's listings, product, and policies, ensuring accurate representation and citation.

Key responsibilities:

- Own the organic growth strategy and content roadmap across SEO, AEO, and GEO

- Manage internal content strategy for these acquisition channels

- Analyze data in SQL, size opportunities, prioritize by impact, and drive launches and experiments

- Lead cross-functional relationships with product and engineering teams

- Build and evolve the measurement framework for SEO, AEO, and GEO

Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in SEO, including 2+ years in a senior/leadership capacity

- Strong SQL skills and proven track record of shipping SEO programs at scale

- Expertise in technical SEO and content strategy, including site architecture and structured data

- Working knowledge of AI-powered search and answer engines

- Strong analytical foundation and experience working cross-functionally

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in a two-sided marketplace or travel business

- Background in international SEO across multiple markets and languages

- Experience building programmatic or product-led SEO at scale

- Early-mover experience in AEO/GEO visibility monitoring and optimization

- Hands-on skill with Python, BigQuery, or similar tools

This is a remote-eligible role with a salary range of $196,000-$245,000 USD.
