## Description

We are seeking a development engineer for our team in Oberkochen to design innovative connection solutions for complex electronic systems and lead their integration to series maturity.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and dimension electrical, optical, and mechanical connection systems including cables, connectors, and interfaces

- Integrate optical data transmission elements into complex electronic assemblies and systems

- Control and accompany design tasks in the area of embedded electronics

- Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and test and proof documents

- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams from hardware, software, and system development

- Support commissioning, qualification, and certification of new products until series approval

**Requirements:**

- Successfully completed studies in mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics, photonics, optics, or a comparable field

- Several years of professional experience (approx. 3-5 years) in the development of connection technology or comparable electronic systems

- Good knowledge of optical systems, especially in the field of fiber-optic connections

- Experience in high-speed data exchange and integration of demanding electronic assemblies is advantageous

- Experience in cooperation with suppliers and external development partners

- Very good German and English language skills as well as pronounced communication and team ability
