## Description

As an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher at The Menta Education Group, you will educate a small classroom of students in a self-contained setting.

The Menta Education Group offers social-emotional learning environments with engaged and inquiry-based academics combined with a P.B.I.S. structure.

## Responsibilities

- Teach all subjects in a classroom setting

- Provide a differentiated learning environment

- Collaborate with staff, including curriculum and clinical staff to achieve positive results for students

- Receive support from on-campus teachers, administrators, curriculum staff, clinical staff, and support staff who are Menta employees

- Personalize learning for students

- Create a social-emotional learning environment

- Manage a classroom of around 10 students with paraprofessional support

## Qualifications

- IL PEL (Professional Educator's License) with LBS1 Certification in Early Childhood Education or Other Teacher Certification (Non-Substitute) with relevant experience

- Flexibility to teach multiple grade levels as student populations change

- Ability to teach a classroom of students within all basic instructional areas

- Experience working with youth with emotional/behavioral/academic difficulties

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

## Compensation & Benefits
