## Description

We're seeking a talented Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at the Cummins location in Fletcher, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

- Building collaborative partnerships to strengthen cross-functional relationships and accelerate execution

- Communicating effectively with various audiences to ensure clarity and alignment

- Modeling proactive safety behaviors and identifying risks early to build a culture of safety

- Translating complex design and equipment drawings into practical manufacturing solutions

- Selecting the right equipment to meet specs, reduce downtime, and enable scalable production

- Using digital modeling and simulation to predict outcomes and drive continuous improvement

- Creating clear, standardized procedures to ensure consistency and reduce variation

- Identifying waste and implementing improvements to reduce cost and enhance quality

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Strong technical troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical issues quickly and confidently

- Advanced CAD and documentation capability to create and maintain accurate models and drawings

- Tooling and equipment design expertise to design, develop, and implement tooling solutions

- A continuous improvement mindset to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements

Education, Licenses, Certifications: College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.

Experience: Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
