## Description

WSP is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join their Project Controls team. This individual can sit in our WSP locations in either Texas, Utah, Tennessee, or Nevada.

The successful candidate will build and maintain program/project schedules, monitor contractor and consultant schedules, identify cost and scheduling issues, and recommend resolutions to the Program Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and financial projections

- Supporting earned value management (EVM) tracking and reporting

- Tracking and controlling project costs, including change management, cost coding, commitments, and accruals

- Monitoring schedule performance, critical path changes, and float

- Administering cost management/PMIS platforms

- Producing regular cost and schedule progress reports

- Supporting integration of cost and schedule data with Power BI reporting tools

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent

- 7+ years of experience in cost controls and scheduling on large-scale capital projects

- Strong working knowledge of earned value management (EVM), cost forecasting, and schedule management practices

- Experience with PMIS platforms such as e-Builder, Procore, or Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project

- Familiarity with Power BI and data reporting concepts

The expected salary range for this position is $130,000-159,000 per year.
