## Description

We are seeking a Director, Advancement & Board Affairs to join our team. The Advancement team is responsible for retaining and building a loyal and generous community of philanthropic supporters. The Director will be responsible for executing our fundraising strategy, managing a portfolio of donors, and building out our network's central governing board and school boards.

Key Advancement Responsibilities:

- Owns and drives day-to-day progress toward fundraising goals

- Manages a small team and coordinates workflow

- Uses data to inform strategies and drive decision-making

- Supports the Chief Advancement Officer in fundraising and other development-related initiatives

- Strengthens collaboration with other SA departments

Key Board Affairs Responsibilities:

- Shapes and aligns board priorities with the organization's growth strategy

- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and organize strategic meeting agendas

- Develops board communications and briefing materials

- Serves as a principal point of contact for all board members

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience as a fundraiser with a proven track record of success

- Proven track record of success in leadership and people management

- Deep experience in using data to inform strategies and drive decision-making

- Strong commitment to excellence and continuous improvement

Compensation, Benefits & Perks:

- Competitive salary range: $250,000-$275,000 USD
