## Description

We are seeking a Stormwater/Water Resources Engineer to join our high-performing Auckland and national water team. As a key member, you will take a leading role in securing, managing, and delivering hydrology and hydraulic modelling projects. You will contribute to the success of the water group by providing high-quality stormwater models and technical advisory work for various clients.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised tertiary qualification in civil or environmental engineering, science, or equivalent, and be working towards chartered status with a professional body. A minimum of 5 years' professional experience as a stormwater/water resources engineer in hydrology and hydraulic modelling and/or flood risk management is required.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing high-quality stormwater models and technical advisory work

- Contributing to transformational projects and programmes related to flood and cyclone recovery, highways, pipe and culvert upgrades, water quality design, and stream restorations

- Predicting flood risk and delivering critical infrastructure for communities in Auckland and around New Zealand
