## Description

We are seeking an experienced healthcare practitioner to join our team as an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, working across various services, including ABC Remote Services. The successful candidate will have a background in acute/urgent care, an MSc in Advanced Practice, and independent prescribing qualifications.

The role involves autonomously undertaking assessment and treatment of acute and chronic patient presentations, determining clinical diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharges or referrals. You will be a source of clinical expertise to less experienced staff and work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include:

- Independently undertaking specialised clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge or referral of patients

- Ensuring patients are fully involved in their treatment plans

- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across primary and secondary care

- Prescribing smoking cessation medication and undertaking assessments for ADHD Primary Care Connect

- Providing clinical supervision and mentorship to junior practitioners

- Participating in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives

We offer a salary of £27.37 to £32.71 per hour, with 12-hour shifts available on Saturdays and Sundays. The post is fixed-term for 12 months, part-time, and requires occasional attendance at our Horley office.
