**Key Responsibilities:**

- Enhance and maintain Prudential's Core admin system

- Collaborate with front-end system application teams to ensure a robust end-to-end software lifecycle

- Define and document scope changes during the project life cycle, and suggest efficient solutions to cater to business needs

- Analyze problems and implement technical solutions

- Prepare technical specifications, maintain and document changes

- Conduct unit/integration testing, complete assignments within deadlines

- Perform quality analysis of programs/systems before acceptance testing

- Work closely with Business Analysts to deliver robust and error-free application systems

- Ensure compliance with IT governance policy

- Review and analyze code quality with junior members

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or Engineering

- 5+ years of experience in AS/400, SMART/400-based insurance applications, specifically Life/400 or Life/Asia applications

- Experience with LifeAsia SOAP APIs

- Strong knowledge of SMART/400-based insurance applications

- Develop, customize, enhance, maintain, and support Life/400, Life/Asia, and Integral Life Insurance software application systems

**Desirable Skills:**

- Strong analytical skills

- Coordination skills for liaising with counterparts

- Experience in conceptual and functional business process modeling

- Knowledge of the insurance industry

- Relationship management skills

- Fluent English communication

**Technical Skills:**

- Data Query Language: SQL400

- Database: DB2

- Development: COBOL400, SMART400
