## Description

Evernorth Workplace Care offers health care delivery services along with population health and health coaching solutions, conducted in person. The mission is to deliver proactive, personalized, and holistic patient care and coaching by acting on health data and insights to improve the overall health and wellness of clients' employees and those they care about.

As an RN Health Coach, you will:

- Identify customer health education needs through targeted health assessment activities and refer them to other Cigna Evernorth clinical programs or client-specific programs as clinically appropriate.

- Collaborate with customers to establish health improvement plans, set personalized evidence-based goals, and support customers in achieving those goals.

- Assist customers in overcoming barriers to better health.

- Lead and support various health and wellness promotional activities, such as group coaching, wellness challenges, and health-related seminars.

- Utilize biometric values and motivational interviewing techniques to collaborate with customers to drive improved clinical outcomes.

- Collaborate with matrix partners to support the overall health and wellness strategy for aligned clients.

- Understand and own various clinical targets and outcome measurements.

- Perform stress, anxiety, and depression screenings.

- Develop action plans that drive clinical value for customers and clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong clinical skills with at least 1 year of experience in health coaching, health education, and health promotion.

- An active, unrestricted RN license in the respective state, with the ability to maintain it.

- Compact license or additional state licenses may be required.

- Current ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED certification.

- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.

- High-speed internet and a quiet office space in a dedicated home office.

- High energy level, with dynamic presentation skills.

- Positive role model in demonstrating healthy behaviors.

- Passion for health improvement.

- Ability to work independently.

- Customer-centric focus.

- Ability to proactively collaborate professionally with clients and other matrix partners.

- Proven administrative abilities, with strong computer and software application skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

- Behavioral health experience, including stress reduction.

- Master's degree in psychology or a related field.

- Chronic disease management experience.

- NBHWC (National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach) certification.

- Motivational interview training/experience.

The role is hybrid, with 2 days/week remote and 3 days/week onsite at the Leviton plant in Morganton, NC. Bilingual candidates in Spanish are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a compact (multi-state) RN license and be licensed in the state of New York.
