## Description

As a Camera Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that Anduril's systems meet stringent testing standards, shipping high-quality products to customers.

You will think creatively to solve complex testing problems, improve automation, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics.

Your experience working on fast-paced, highly technical teams will enable effective communication and issue resolution.

### Responsibilities

- Maintain ownership of test activities in production, ensuring production test flow, and provide hands-on troubleshooting efforts.

- Resolve complex infrared systems issues found during testing.

- Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream.

- Generate test work instructions for technicians and train them on equipment use.

- Develop a library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.

- Maintain and develop software for test automation, data analytics, and report generation.

- Determine root causes of product failures and recommend corrective actions.

- Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams on customer returns and failure analysis.

- Contribute to early-stage test design for new products.

- Analyze test data, document results, and provide detailed reports.

- Optimize test strategies for efficiency and effectiveness.

- Maintain and calibrate test equipment.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives.

### Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

- 3+ years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing test and product sustainment.

- Experience with data acquisition and processing using MATLAB, Python, and other programming languages.

- Experience with test automation and report generation.

- Strong root cause analysis skills.

- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Experience working on projects involving electrical, opto-mechanical, and software/firmware systems.

- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

### Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of infrared systems and their performance requirements.

- Experience with cryogenic testing equipment.

- Familiarity with test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, thermal chambers, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors.

- Experience with computer hardware communication protocols.
