## Description

We are seeking a Junior Contract Drafter to join our team. As a Junior Contract Drafter, you will create, develop and maintain reinsurance contract documentation and use your knowledge of insurance/reinsurance concepts to assist broker teams with various projects.

Responsibilities:

- Draft reinsurance contracts, interests and liabilities agreements and related documents in coordination with brokers, clients and reinsurers under moderate supervision.

- Interpret and assess contracts and perform quality assurance reviews to ensure contract wording reflects intent of reinsurance negotiations.

- Provide technical guidance to colleagues, brokers, clients and reinsurers regarding reinsurance concepts and contract language application.

- Participate in Request for Proposal and sales presentations by recommending coverage and wording enhancements.

- Promote, build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients and reinsurers.

- Participate in department meetings to share opinions, ideas, knowledge and solutions.

- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Four Year College Degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent experience.

- Law Degree (J.D.) helpful but not required.

- Minimum of 0-2 years of experience with reinsurance contracts.

- Extensive MS Word experience and expertise.

- Experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office products.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Excellent organization skills.

- Legally authorized to work in the US.
