## Description

We are seeking freelance Non-Linguistic Quality Control Specialists to support our translation projects in the Life Sciences domain.

As a Non-Linguistic QC Specialist, you will be responsible for the final quality assurance step before delivery to the client. This involves checking for inconsistencies, numeric mismatches, formatting and layout issues, and ensuring client-specific requirements have been followed.

Key responsibilities include:

- Performing Non-Linguistic Quality Control of translations into English for pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical content.

- Using CAT tools and running QC checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.

- Validating formatting, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and adherence to instructions.

- Supporting processing of non-editable/handwritten sources and performing formatting QC after conversion.

- Working according to availability and meeting TATs (typically 12–24 hours).

Requirements:

- Minimum 6 months QC/QA-related experience in the localization industry.

- Familiarity with CAT tools (XTM/Phrase), License will be provided.

- Familiarity with QA checks tools (Xbench, Verifika, or CAT-integrated QA).

- Familiarity with Track Changes in Microsoft Word.

- Advanced level in English (C1 or above).

- Availability of 4–5 hours per day.

- Flexibility and willingness to work occasional weekends and bank holidays.

- Ability to meet urgent TATs (12–24 hours) and manage many small files.
