## Description

At Ford Motor Company, a global leader in the automotive industry, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for implementing platform and Ford-specific solutions, with end-to-end responsibility for software services supporting Ford Vehicle programs.

Your primary focus will be on designing and building in-vehicle software using current technologies, with strong technical acumen in cloud computing platforms and technology. You will participate in Release Management and Project Management discussions to gather customer requirements, perform software engineering using continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), and work in an extreme software development environment using Kanban software methodology.

Key responsibilities include:

- Designing and building in-vehicle software

- Participating in Release Management and Project Management discussions

- Performing software engineering using CI/CD

- Working in an extreme software development environment using Kanban

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on end-to-end integration, testing, and issue triage efforts

- Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies

- Using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Sonar Cube, Fossa, and GitHub

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field

- 4-5+ years of progressive responsibilities in cloud-based technically aligned functions using Java Spring Boot

- 4+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud service providers
