## Description

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team.

The successful candidate will plan, organise, and deliver physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease

- Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards

- Document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation; establish therapeutic plans and modify them if necessary

- Educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home

- Demonstrate and incorporate knowledge of current research into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents

- May treat individuals of all ages with varying diagnosis and disorders

- Follow and adhere to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organisation

- Exhibit flexibility with acceptance of variable work schedules/assignments

- Participate in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society, and Sanford Health

- Provide ongoing education and training to peers in the area(s) of expertise as determined by the department leadership

As an Internal Traveler, you will be utilised in multiple sites (SD, ND, NE, CO, IA, and MN) and settings with flexibility in scheduled hours. You will receive regular pay and a weekly stipend. All buildings are on the same EMR and Good Sam sites. You will accrue PTO the same as full-time staff and have holiday pay.

Qualifications:

- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure

- Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist

- Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment

Salary Range: $37.50 - $62.00 per hour
