## Description

We are seeking a Band 4 Maintenance Craftsperson (electrical) to join our team at Royal Free Hospital. As a Maintenance Craftsperson, you will undertake maintenance, repairs, minor improvement and capital work across the Trust, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, service and repair a range of electrical equipment

- Use computer applications software for accessing, programming and fault diagnosis for the Building Management System

- Undertake fault finding on complex LV networks, critical systems and equipment

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections and commissioning tests in accordance with Trust procedures

- Complete all report sheets and test certificates as necessary

- Responsible for undertaking portable electrical equipment and fixed installation testing and general inspections

- Follow planned maintenance schedules

- Undertake electrical testing and monitor results to ensure compliance with the latest edition of the Wiring Regulations BS7671

- Request remedial works or emergency isolations as and when required

- Responsible for undertaking Electrical installations in accordance with the latest edition of the Wiring Regulations BS7671

- Interpret and follow the regulations at all times

- Immediately notify the Maintenance Supervisor of any deviation from the regulations

- Follow detailed engineering drawings and specifications

- Use all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works

- Undertake inspection and commissioning tests for the installation and issue the appropriate completion certificates

- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671
