## Description

We are seeking a Customer Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term basis, working nights in our Southampton store.

As a Customer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store is ready for the day ahead, providing excellent customer service, and supporting your colleagues to achieve their full potential.

**Responsibilities:**

- Preparing the store for the day ahead by filling shelves, working at a good steady pace throughout the night, and being prepared to work with a variety of product types

- Keeping your workspace tidy for other colleagues and making sure our aisles are clean, presentable, and ready for our customers the next day

- Collecting and moving stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor, including heavy equipment and containers

- Working across different parts of the store, which could include chilled and frozen areas

- Using equipment, handsets, and digital systems to complete your work accurately and safely

- Helping in other areas when needed, which could include picking online orders or serving customers at checkouts once you're trained and confident

- Ability to work in a physically demanding role and adapt to the disruption that working overnight can have on well-being and sleep

- Confident in learning to use new digital tools and technology to do your job brilliantly
