## Description

Priory North London Hospital is seeking a Visiting Consultant Psychiatrist to join their team on a contract basis. This self-employed, sessional role offers the opportunity to build and manage a private practice providing inpatient and Day Care services.

As a Visiting Consultant Psychiatrist, you will assess and treat a diverse mix of inpatients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, engage in quality improvement and governance activities, and expand your practice.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assessing and treating inpatients

- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, healthcare assistants, and Dietician

- Engaging in quality improvement and governance activities

- Expanding your practice in alignment with the site's prestigious reputation

- Networking with professional colleagues and referral sources

- Marketing yourself and your practice in conjunction with Priory

- Maintaining professional development and meeting Revalidation requirements

Requirements:

- GMC registration with relevant specialist registration

- Experience including at least 2 years operating within a substantive role with the NHS and with treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)

- A strong understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks

- Successful completion of a DBS (funded by Priory) and other regulatory required checks
