## Description

As a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering the company's purpose and values. You will assist the Pharmacy team in providing an excellent experience for patients, including tasks such as:

- Participating in all aspects of the prescription filling process

- Providing patient counseling

- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care

- Offering health screenings and immunizations when appropriate

- Providing customer service

- Ensuring patient safety

- Assisting pharmacy patients and front store customers with questions

- Managing inventory

Additionally, you will be expected to:

- Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues

- Motivate and inspire the pharmacy team to provide excellent patient care

- Identify business opportunities and contribute to solutions to drive growth and improve performance

- Support implementation of solutions to achieve specified goals

- Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting

- Remain current on new developments, initiatives, and training to provide the best experience for patients

- Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes

**Required Qualifications:**

- Active Pharmacy Intern License in the state in which you are employed

- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List

- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances

**Education:**

- Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy

**Pay Range:**

$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
