## Description

Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer (SME) in our Intel Security Sector's Analysis Solutions Business Area. Our talented team is at the forefront in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management.

As a Test Engineer SME, you will provide technical expertise with developing and executing automated testing scripts as part of a tailored SAFe Agile DevSecOps pipeline. You will have the opportunity to perform software development to implement scripts, evaluate test results, and feedback loops in a Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery Pipeline; all within Commercial cloud development environments.

**Responsibilities:**

- Participate in program Agile software development initiatives to support innovation and enhancement of custom applications through iteration/functionality testing

- Collaborate with team members to assess StoryPoint/complexity efforts to ensure proper testing and delivery of functionality per User Story Acceptance Criteria

- Develop test approaches with emphasis on automation of recurring/regression test cases through selected toolsets

- Develop test validation scripts using program designated languages (e.g., Python)

- Leverage DevOps practices to ensure repeatability and Configuration Management of test cases/scripts

- Support performance testing/evaluation activities using tools such as Jmeter

- Generate test data and identify use/corner cases required to meet User Story/Customer needs

**Requirements:**

- Ability to test both front end changes and back-end applications processes

- Expertise with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automating tasks and test data/script development

- Extensive experience creating, authoring, executing, and documenting test cases for software products in an Agile cadence

- Extensive experience working/testing within Commercial Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS) and DevOps tools

- Demonstrated ability to work within collaborative environment to execute test cases

- Masters with 15 or more years of relevant experience or a PhD with 13 or more years of relevant experience

- TS/SCI with a polygraph is required for consideration
