## Description

We are seeking a Lead, Advanced Analytics, Acquisition to support the acquisition of new Hosts and drive the growth of the business. The individual in this role will focus on in-depth data analysis, metric definition, benchmark creation, experimentation, and synthesis to high-level insights for prioritization.

A typical day in this role will involve conducting advanced data analysis to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions, collaborating closely with business teams to provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions, defining new metrics and identifying leading indicators of key business outcomes, building dashboards to track key performance metrics across markets and customer segments to establish benchmarks, conducting A/B tests to improve business performance and maximize incrementality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align strategies and leverage synergies.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of industry experience with a degree in a quantitative field, prior experience in advanced analytics or business data science within a marketplace or business strategy setting, deep understanding of econometric and statistical analysis, and experience in applying these skills to derive insights from broad data sets.

The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. While the position is Remote Eligible, you must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.
