## Description

We are seeking a Host/Hostess to join our team at Soho House in Barcelona.

As a Host, you will be one of the first points of contact for members, guests, and staff before they are seated for their dining experience.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Greeting guests and creating a positive first impression

- Answering high-volume phone lines and responding to inquiries about menus, hours of operation, and amenities

- Creating reservations for the Club or F&B Operations/Restaurants

- Providing excellent service to all guests, members, and staff

- Working with the reception team to ensure seamless service and managing expectations

- Building relationships with members and guests and communicating feedback to management

Requirements:

- Experience with OpenTable and MICROS is a plus

- Ability to answer high-volume phone lines and respond to inquiries professionally and efficiently

- Problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities

- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication skills and ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical requirements:

- Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly around the club

- Ability to lift and handle objects with hands

- Ability to understand and communicate clearly with guests, members, and coworkers
