## Description

Filevine is seeking part-time legal research interns from accredited law schools to review and validate data extracted by machine learning systems from published legal materials.

This role is ideal for law students who enjoy close reading of judicial opinions and legal analysis, and who are curious about how AI is being applied to legal practice.

### Responsibilities

- Read and analyze published judicial opinions across state and federal jurisdictions.

- Review outputs generated by AI systems and verify their accuracy against the source legal materials.

- Apply your legal research training to identify errors, ambiguities, or edge cases in automated outputs.

- Collaborate with legal researchers and ML engineers to improve data quality over time.

### Qualifications

- Currently enrolled as a 2L or 3L.

- Completion of at least the 1L curriculum, including legal research and writing.

- Enjoy reading and analyzing judicial opinions, statutes, and other legal authorities.

- Strong attention to detail and familiarity with legal writing.

- Interest in legal technology or AI.
