## Description

We are seeking an Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of up to 85 clients in the South Texas/Louisiana geographical area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing tactical plans and strategies to achieve exceptional client retention, rate execution, earnings, and growth targets.

Key responsibilities include:

- Overall account management responsibility for Cigna assigned clients

- Meeting and exceeding rate execution, client retention, and earnings growth key performance indicators

- Demonstrating medical underwriting and financial acumen with experience in analyzing financial experience reports

- Creating and executing portfolio strategies that positively impact financial results

- Representing Cigna Healthcare as a subject matter expert to drive value within the market

- Overseeing and mentoring team client service team members

The ideal candidate will have:

- Sales experience

- Strong understanding of medical underwriting and financial principles

- College degree or equivalent related experience

- Minimum 5 years' experience in health benefits

- Excellent communication/presentation/sales negotiation skills

- Health and Life Insurance License
