## Description

The Portfolio Services team at BlackRock delivers critical operational support for alternative investment products. As an Associate within Alternatives Fund Accounting, you will play a key role in overseeing fund administration, accounting, financial reporting, and operational processes for a broad range of alternative investment products.

Your responsibilities:

- Review Net Asset Value (NAV) accounting packages and fund administration deliverables prepared by external administrators.

- Support the delivery of fund accounting, investor reporting, regulatory reporting, and financial statements.

- Partner with third-party administrators and internal stakeholders to maintain a strong control environment.

- Assist in operational oversight of complex investment products, including valuation support and data management activities.

- Coordinate audit activities and contribute to the review of annual financial statements.

- Respond to customized reporting requests and support strategic projects.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Demonstrated ability to support fund accounting, fund administration, or private fund operations for alternative investment vehicles.

- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles.

- Familiarity with alternative investment products.

- Experience collaborating with third-party fund administrators, auditors, and other service providers.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- CPA designation or progress toward a comparable professional accounting qualification is preferred.
