## Description

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing contracts, providing legal advice to employees and senior managers, and participating in dispute resolution processes.

Responsibilities:

- Create and review contracts related to commercial, CSMS, RWS, and RDS businesses

- Negotiate contract terms with external parties

- Provide legal advice on various legal issues, including privacy and compliance

- Participate in dispute resolution processes, including labor disputes

- Collaborate with the Ethics and Compliance Office on compliance-related cases

- Develop and implement internal legal processes

- Support M&A activities and corporate legal affairs

Requirements:

- Completed law school education in Japan or overseas and passed the Japanese bar exam

Preferred qualifications:

- 1-3 years of post-qualification experience or equivalent in-house legal experience

- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and medical product development process

- English conversation and writing skills
