## Description

We are seeking a General Practitioner to join our Croydon IUC team, providing up to 1-2 sessions a week including weekends.

The position involves providing urgent, on-the-day care for patients with minor illnesses or injuries at the Croydon GP Hubs, supported by a team of General Practitioners and Advanced Nurse Practitioners.

You will be delivering safe and effective clinical care, maintaining standards to ensure compliant delivery of services to all patients.

The role entails being part of a rota service, working closely with a Clinical Lead GP, and engaging in clinical governance activities to improve health outcomes.

**Main Responsibilities:**

- Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery.

- Work closely with clinical leads and local practice teams to support the delivery of the surgery's operational plan.

- Strive to maintain quality within the practice, ensuring participation in clinical governance activity.

- Contribute to the improvement in quality health outcomes through audit and Quality and Outcomes Framework.

- Provide clinical care to patients as described in the job plan and in line with the total triage model.

**Ideal Candidate:**

- Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list.

- Experienced doctor with GP accreditation - MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.

- Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient-focused services.

- Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs, and use of appropriate coding.

- Ideally have a working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.
