## Description

Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target means being part of a team that provides a consistent experience for guests. You will be responsible for creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience, delivering high-quality food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organised store environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests

- Curate handcrafted Starbucks food and beverages

- Manage food quality and freshness

- Follow state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines

- Greet guests, help them find what they need, and resolve issues

- Actively support team efforts and assist peers

- Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience

- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience

- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage Standards

- Execute food and beverage processes, including replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, and cleaning

- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests

- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations

- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications

- Follow all food safety requirements

- Complete and record all cleaning tasks

- Locate and identify damaged, recalled, or expired items

- Ensure accurate in-stocks and follow proper perishable inventory procedures

- Execute sampling best practices

- Complete all required training requirements and certifications

- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

- Work in a safe manner and comply with all safety policies

- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up

Requirements:

- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues

- Interpret instructions, reports, and information

- Accurately handle cash register operations

- Climb up and down ladders if needed

- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely

- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to work in environments with refrigeration and freezer temperatures

- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements
