Join the team at Target as a Starbucks Barista and help create an exceptional guest experience.

As a Starbucks Barista, you will be responsible for providing a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted beverages and managing food quality and freshness.

Your typical day will include:

- Creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience

- Greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues

- Supporting team efforts and assisting peers in other areas

- Maintaining a positive and respectful attitude

- Adjusting to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience

- Upholding and maintaining the execution of Food & Beverage Standards

- Executing food and beverage processes, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, and food safety

- Supporting the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time

- Maintaining an inviting dining area for guests

- Engaging with guests to meet and exceed their expectations

- Producing handcrafted beverages and food to specifications

- Following all food safety requirements and completing cleaning tasks

- Locating and identifying damaged, recalled, or expired items

- Ensuring accurate in-stocks and following proper perishable inventory procedures

- Executing sampling best practices

- Completing all required training requirements and certifications

- Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

- Working in a safe manner and complying with all safety policies and best practices

To succeed in this role, you should:

- Enjoy interacting and helping others

- Thrive in a fast-moving, highly active, and physically demanding role

- Be open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts

- Have previous Starbucks or food service experience (preferred but not required)

- Possess a welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members

- Be able to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment

- Be able to work both independently and with a team

- Be able to resolve guest questions quickly and accurately

- Pay attention to detail and follow multi-step processes

- Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
