## Description

We are seeking a Principal Environmental Health Officer to join our Private Sector Housing Service in Camden. As a qualified Environmental Health Officer with a certificate of registration issued by the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB) or Chartered status, you will play a key role in elevating standards in Camden's private rented sector.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Leading on enforcement and compliance inspections as part of our Houses in Multiple Occupation licensing schemes

- Using a full suite of enforcement tools, including Civil Penalty Notices and Banning Orders, to address substandard housing

- Promoting grants and landlord accreditation as effective alternatives to improve the private housing landscape in Camden

- Supporting and mentoring a team of professional officers to deliver service objectives

In return, you will receive a salary of £52,205 - £59,484, plus additional benefits such as:
