## Description

We are seeking a Business Director to lead our Vision Care business in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business performance, setting strategic priorities, and leading a cross-functional team.

**Position Purpose** The Business Director is the senior business leader for Vision Care Hong Kong, with full accountability for business performance, P&L delivery, market competitiveness, and organizational leadership.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Develop and deliver annual and long-term business plans aligned with regional and enterprise priorities.

- Restore the business to sustainable 3 to 5 percent annual growth while protecting or improving quality of earnings.

- Drive strong business performance management through forecasting, business reviews, risk management, and timely corrective actions.

- Build a culture of financial discipline, accountability, and clear decision-making.

- Define the growth strategy for Vision Care Hong Kong based on market dynamics, consumer needs, customer priorities, competitive trends, and channel evolution.

- Lead the transformation from a traditional retail-led model to an integrated omnichannel growth model.

- Lead the commercial strategy across key accounts, retail partners, e-commerce platforms, and professional channels.

- Accelerate online growth while building a sustainable and profitable digital business model.

- Strengthen revenue growth management across pricing, promotion, product mix, trade terms, and investment effectiveness.

- Build strategic customer and partner relationships focused on joint value creation and long-term growth.

- Champion a consumer- and patient-centered approach to business planning and execution.

- Partner with Marketing and Professional Development teams to strengthen brand equity, category development, professional advocacy, and demand generation.

- Ensure brand investments are linked to clear business outcomes and measurable returns.

- Lead, inspire, and develop a cross-functional organization of approximately 30 employees.

- Build a high-performing leadership team with clear priorities, ownership, decision rights, and accountability.

**Success Measures** Success in this role will be measured through a balanced scorecard including:

- Revenue growth and profitability

- Quality of earnings and return on investment

- Forecast accuracy and financial discipline

- Market share and category growth

- Progress against omnichannel transformation milestones

- Customer and partner performance

- Employee engagement and organizational health

- Succession readiness for key positions

- Governance, compliance, risk management, and internal controls

**Candidate Profile**

- Bachelor’s degree or above.

- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.

- More than 15 years of progressive business experience, ideally in consumer healthcare, medical devices, retail, FMCG, beauty, consumer electronics, or another branded omnichannel business.

- Demonstrated success in restoring growth, transforming a business, or leading through structural channel change.

- Strong understanding of Hong Kong retail, consumer, and omnichannel dynamics.

- Experience across both online and offline business models.

- Proven ability to make portfolio, investment, and resource-allocation choices in a constrained environment.

- Language: fluent in Cantonese and English, Mandarin is a plus.
