The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. As an Inbound Expert, you will have the opportunity to gain skills and experience in: - Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store - Retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement - Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals A typical day as an Inbound Expert will include responsibilities such as: - Creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience - Greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues - Supporting team efforts and assisting peers in other areas - Adjusting to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience - Executing a detailed, accurate, and efficient sorting operation - Stocking, organizing, and storing reserve product and straightening merchandise on the sales floor - Maintaining product availability on the sales floor for GM categories - Operating powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise - Processing defective merchandise and handling environmentally sensitive (ESIM) items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations - Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance - Working in a safe manner at all times and reporting hazards - Supporting guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU), and Drive up (DU) To be successful in this role, you should: - Enjoy interacting and helping others - Thrive in a fast-moving, highly active, and physically demanding role - Be open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts Required skills and qualifications include: - Being at least 18 years of age or older - Having a welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members - Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed - Ability to work both independently and with a team - Resolving guest questions quickly on the spot - Attention to detail and following multi-step processes - Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes We offer competitive benefits, including financial and education benefits, well-being and beyond.
